Who We Are

My name is Sean Van Kooten.

I have over 20+ years of dog training, 7 national championships, and 35+ national placements, and I've made about every mistake one could make. And I use those learnings to bring out the best in every dog.

I founded Mountain Meadow Bird Dogs in 2022, where I train puppies to national quality trail dogs, help restore gun-shy dogs to hunt with vigor, and introduce puppies to their first wild birds. Dog training is my way of life, and I'd love to work with you and your pup.
